Course Objective

The aim of this course is to help students perceive and discuss the basic concepts of comparative literature through texts on basic theories of comparative and cross-cultural literature and apply these approaches while reading literary texts.

1   To learn the general features of literary translation.
2   To learn about the theories of comparative literature.
3   To learn about the analysis methods of comparative literature.
4   To learn about the comparative methods in literature.
5   To be able to compare and interpret sample texts.
