Course Objective

To investigate the theories and models of international management, to understand the international differences among organizations and people, to analyze the effects of culture on organizations and people, to understand the differences between countries in terms of individual, group and organizational factors.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand, evaluate and aplly the theories and models of international management and behavior.
2   To be able to analyze the cultural differences, appriciate the differences and develop emphaty.
3   To be able learn to learn
4   To have knowledge about the management of global managers, their life-styles and global carreers.
5   To have the awareness on global negotiations and their taxtics.

6 Values, attitudes, perceptions, communications in international context
7 Global leadership, decision-making and motivation
8 Management of global managers: Cross-cultural osmosis, new cultural formations, life styles of global managers, global careers
9 Country examples in terms of international management (English speaking countries)
10 Country examples in terms of international management (French, Spainsh, Italian speaking countries and East/west europe)
11 Country examples in terms of international management (Baltic countries, Russia, German speaking countries)
