Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the theories, methods and skills that are required for the translation of the works of German writers that have different styles into Turkish.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn the significance of the literary translation.
2   Recognize the theories and methods of literary translation.
3   Learn to evaluate and analyse the literary texts according to their periods and types.
4   .Learn the fact that literary translation is a way of cultural transfer.
5   Be able to apply the acquired knowledge and skills into every type of literary text.
