Course Objective

The Course reviews concepts to investigate the linkages between social frameworks of the population with health inequalities. The course provides evidences and examples of this area, and offers tools to explore the policies of social determinants perspectives. The Course discusses a range of selected topics on health inequalities referring to key concepts and instruments, evidence, and action on explaining health inequalities. Particular emphasis is put on definitions, theoretical models, key features
of health inequalities, and interventions to tackle them
