Course Objective

The aim of this course is to describe areas under Applied Psychology, examine scientific approaches and research, basic concepts, cross-cultural similarities and differences, investigate and discuss culture-specific assessment, contemporary empirical findings

1   Able to describe areas under Applied Psychology, their basic subjects and culture
2   Able to comprehend impact of cultural patterns mainly in clinical psychology
3   Able to discuss methods of scientific research and methods in this area
4   Able to examine similarities and differences in scientific findings in cross-cultural context
5   Able to make comments and adapt research findings when considering culture-free and culture-specific factors
