DEGREE PROGRAMMES

: Mineral Processing

General Description

History

Mining Engineering Department was founded in 1972 as a discipline of the Mechanical Engineering at Ege University and the education started the same year. The department became a separate branch of engineering in 1978 in the same university and then joined to Dokuz Eylul University in 1982.
The department offers a four-year Mining Engineering Bachelor's program for the undergraduate students as a part of Engineering Faculty. It also serves to the graduate students as a division of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences. Mining Engineering department aims providing a comprehensive knowledge in a broad range of science and technology to the students.
