History |
Machine Design and ConstructionTechnology Program 1986 1987 academic year, the World Bank, Higher Education Project was initiated. 2 year program consisting of four semesters of 14 weeks. This two year program in the process of theoretical lectures, laboratory practices and industry based training is provided. Program is to teach students the basic concepts of machine manufacturing and industrial machine with manual skills to develop applications designed for industrial and laboratory. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
Graduates of related vocational high schools gain right to enrol the programme without taking any examinations. Other high school graduates need to take the transition to Higher Education Examination conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Centre and have to obtain adequate score to enrol. |

The student must complete 2 years of study acquiring 120 (ECTS) credits. This degree is awarded to students who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum, compulsory 30 days of internship and have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00/4.00 and no failing grades. |
Profile of the Programme |
The program covers the machinery manufacturing industry knowledge and industry based, theoretical courses are given vocational college classrooms, laboratories and workshops of the program are courses in the application. Students in the second year 6 weeks (30 working days compulsory) courses during the application and complete the internship based on their industry. Machine Design and Construction Technology Program, formal education and secondary education is given in Turkish. First class (Ö.Ö. + İ.Ö.olarak) 120 people, and the second class (Ö.Ö. + İ.Ö.olarak) for a total of 220 100 people are in education and training of students. Assist the Programme 1. Professor 2 lecturers are employed. Kontrüksiyon Izmir Vocational School of the Machine Design and Construction Technology Program is used by the three laboratories. These laboratories, materials laboratories, a computer lab, and machine workshop. Provided under the World Bank Project of Higher Education, student labs level are capable of application tools and equipment. Private sector and public sector training and technical excursion services are offered to students. |

Graduate students of the science of the machine manufacturing industry and the machine is used for quality control and research work as a technician other industry branches.
