Profile of the Programme |
In the PhD program, it is aimed that student gets ability to learn, assess and explain scientific knowledge by undertaking research. As regards, it is aimed to provide a theoretical ground and to support this ground within econometric and statistical methods and analyses for applied fields. |

Economics program PhD degree graduates can find a job both in public and private sector. They can attend the inspectors, auditors and assistant specialist exams that are carried out by various ministries, and can work with these titles. National and international companies that belong to the public and private sector are also institutions in that the graduates are employed. In addition, Economics program PhD degree graduates can make an academic career. |

Graduation Requirements |
Third Cycle (Doctorate Degree) Program with thesis is comprised of courses (84 ECTS), a field study (6 ECTS) and thesis (150 ECTS), in total 240 ECTS credits. Students must have minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50/4.00 and completed all the courses with at least CB/S/TP grades. |
