Course Objective

This course aims to give fundamental knowledge and experience to teacher candidates about researches and applications on teaching mechanics topics at secondary level.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to know identified misconceptions and learning difficulties related with mechanics topics.
2   Being able to explain reasons of misconceptions and learning difficulties related with mechanics topics.
3   Being able to develop materials that can be used for teaching mechanics topics.
4   Being able to design experiments that can be for teaching mechanics topics.
5   Being able to evaluate the teaching methods and techniques that can be used for teaching mechanics topics.

6 Presentations and discussions on experiments and sample teaching materials that can be applied for teaching of work, energy and energy conservations topics.
