Course Objective

To inform prospective mathematics teachers of national and international mathematics curriculums. To help them gain mastery over the content of 9th-12th grades' curriculums.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To grasp the structure and the content of a curriculum.
2   To have knowledge about NCTM principles and standards.
3   To learn about 1st-5th grades' mathematics curriculum.
4   To learn about 6th-8th grades' mathematics curriculum.
5   To learn about 9th-12th grades' mathematics curriculum in detail and to design instructional practices.
6   To learn about 9th-12th grades' Geometry curriculum.
