Course Objective

The aim of this course is to learn basic information of Settlement Geography and gain the ability to work in this field.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the basic concepts on urban settlements.
2   Assess the physical and human Geographical factors effecting the distribution of urban settlements.
3   Analyze the properties of urban settlements.
4   Knows the importance of urban planning and evaluate new applications in the cities in present-day.
5   Identify problems and improve the proposed solutions to the urban settlements.
