Course Objective

The aim of this course is to learn renewable energy sources in world and in the Turkey and the distribution and modified them, and to determine the importance Turkey's status in terms of energy in the World.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the basic concepts on Underground sources of energy.
2   Classify renewable energy resources in the world and in Turkey.
3   Detect the potential of renewable energy resources in the world and in Turkey.
4   Make the distribution of renewable energy sources in Turkey and in the world.
5   Analyze the application areas of renewable energy resources in the world and in Turkey.
6   Analyze the economic value and dependency status by country of renewable energy sources in the world and in Turkey.
7   Assess the relationship between the renewable energy resources and the environment in the world and in Turkey and have information to make plans on renewable energy sources.
