Course Objective

The aim of this course is to make students know basic type of researches and grasp methodological and technical knowledge necessary to sustain historical researches.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain the utility and value of history
2   To be able to summarize the basic types of historiography
3   To be able to explain the place of history in social sciences and it's relation with social sciences
4   To be able to assess historical sources by using qualitative and quantitative methods
5   To be able to plan and conclude the basic stages of a historical research
6   To be able to apply the methodological and technical rules used in historical researches
7   To be able to pursue and apply the contemporary developments in the field of historical methodology in the world
