Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students to learn political, social and cultural lives of the civilizations founded around Ancient Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to list the basic sources for Ancient Mediterranean and the Aegean
2   To be able to summarise the periods in Ancient Mediterranean and the Aegean History
3   To be able to write important events and cases, dates, people names and place names
4   To be able to tell the political, social and cultural structure in Ancient Greeks
5   To be able to summarize the main points of Roman history
6   To be able to comment on the position of Ancient Greek and Roman World in the World History
