Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach Ottoman historiographers and their histories to teacher candidates and provide them to learn Ottoman History from primary sources.

1   To be able to know Ottoman historiographers
2   To be able to summarize histories that Ottoman historiographers wrote
3   To be able to compare Ottoman histories
4   The skill of being able to read primary source
5   To be able to explain changes in Ottoman historiographers' history writing
