Course Objective

After 1950 the major trends in the Turkish myth, artists and their works to examine the impact of modernism and urban culture to teach the stories of this period.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   After 1950 the Turkish role in the development of the story and explain to comprehend the social and cultural developments.
2   To understand the influence of Western literary currents of Turkish literature after 1950, to compare.
3   This is the story of the characteristics of the Turkish period, artists from across the social and political issues and trends, understand the attitude, be able to comment on the works.
4   Learning to apply on the texts of literary theories.
5   This term trends in current and movement of Turkish myth of Turkish artists determine the positions of the story, the story to analyze
6   Modern and postmodern conceptions of history to compare with the classic story, to interpret.
