Course Objective

By working on authentic and more complex texts in German literature, improving learners' vocabulary stock; developing their skills on summarizing, extracting the mean idea, analyzing and synthesizing.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student is able to determine the types of literary texts by defining its physical, content-related and linguistic features.
2   The student is able to implement the basic techniques in order to attain comprehension in literary text analysis
3   The student is able to address questions to analyze the text.
4   The student is able to summarize literary texts.
5   The student is able to interpret the literary text and to establish relationships to daily context.
