Course Objective

Development and training of writing skills at B1-Level with regard to inofficial and official written genres (letter, mail, job application, curriculum vitae etc. combined with the practice of task-relevant vocabulary and grammatical aspects; development and training of creative writing skills.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The students can compose simple genres at B1-Level (invitation, thank-you-notes, job application, curriculum vitae etc.).
2   The students con compose creative texts on the basis of examples texts ( Elfchen , poems, stories etc.).
3   The students can identify and analyze typical stylistic elements of official and private mails/letters.
4   The students can compose official and inofficial letters by applying typical stylistic elements.
5   The students can actively use B1-vocabulary when writing texts.
