Course Objective

The aim of this course is to enable the students to acquire the changes and tendency of development in the grammar structures of German language in the decades respectively in morphology, syntax, vocabulary and in different fields of grammar.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to comprehend the factors that cause the changes in the language.
2   Ability to comprehend the changes and tendency of development in the grammar structures of German language.
3   Ability to comprehend the terms "Neudeutsch". "Anglizismen" "Denglisch" and To indicate criteria for the determination of article of new foreign words in German language.
4   Ability to comprehend the building and the use of expressions for gender difference and gender-free in current German.
5   Ability to analyse the building and the use of euphemism in modern German.
