Course Objective

Plane analytic geometry, point-and-linerelationship, vectors in the plane, the line and fundamental problems, basic problems and the circle, ellipse and the basic problems, fundamental problems in hyperbola, parabola and the basic problems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will learn about the point,the line, the circle, the ellipse, the hyperbole, the parabole on plane
2   Students will solve problems in plane geometry
3   Students will be familiar to the concepts of analytic geometry in plane and in space
4   Students will understand and draw the graphs of some geometric shapes
5   Students will develop their concept of analytical thinking
