Course Objective

Historical improvment of Turkish Folk Music. Folk music repertoire, institutionalisation of folk music in Republic Period, the importance of folk music in music education, general folklore information, the reationship of folk music with other areas of folklore, the instruments are being used in the folk music, melodical form of the folk music, styles in folk music, Hoyrat, Maya, Divan, Bozlak, Gurbet, Yol , Barak, Zeybek, Halay, karsılama, etc.. Listening the samples in characteristic specialities.
