Course Objective

Providing the students to reach a certain level and improving the musical skills of them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Keeping the flute in right position.
2   Breathing appropriately, practising for brilliant tone.
3   Students have knowledge of musical tones and play the scales in F major,D minor,G major and E minor.
4   They use their tongue correctly and play the related etudes.
5   They play simple pieces for flute and piano into two octaves.

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Iluminating the students about flute and the right position of it.
2 Keeping the flute in right position,teaching the position of G,A,B on flute and practising on breathing.
3 Teaching the position of F,E,D on flute and teaching the position of C,D,E,F,G in second octaves on flute.
4 Illuminating the students about knowlegde of musical scales in F major and D minor.
5 Teaching the musical scales in G major,E minor and D major.
6 Teaching all of notes to A which is in third octaves.
7 Term Examination.
8 Teaching the musical scales in second octaves.
9 Practising in musical scales and etudes, teaching methods for breathing and tongue.
10 Playing the musical scales (legato and tongue) .
11 Practising in G minor scale and related etudes.
12 Practising in musical scales and etudes in Altes which were taught.And teaching the simple pieces for flute and piano.
13 Practising in piece which were taught before.
14 Practising in musical scales and etudes which were learnt via various methods.
15 Final exam .
