Course Objective

Introduction of Bağlama, simple exercises with right and left hands, playing simple melodies starting with "hüseyni" melodies that are being used very much in Turkish folk music also being used as school music.

1   Holds his instrument and spring ("tezene") correctly
2   Knows the places and names of notes on G and D strings
3   Uses different spring ("tezene") styles at different strings
4   Performs melodies by "Teke Tezenesi"
5   Performs melodies by "Konya Tezenesi"
6   Performs melodies in 2/4, 4/4, 5/8, 7/8 ve 9/8 measures
