Course Objective

Providing the students to reach a certain level and improving the musical skills of them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students play musical scales with six flats and six sharps.
2   They learn trill position on the flute and perform them.
3   They practise on musical cadances.
4   They notice contemporary etudes and play them.
5   They play pieces which accompanied by piano and solo pieces.

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Control of playing position, teaching practices on tones.
2 Improving tone, breathing and articulation techniques.
3 Investigating technical points of the piece.
4 Practising on piece and etudes.
5 Practising scales with seven flats and seven sharps.
6 Playing etudes that will support the scales which were learnt last lesson.
7 Term Examination.
8 Practises on musical expressions of the piece.
9 Repeating scales with seven falts and seven sharps.
10 Playing scales with different articulations techniques.
11 Control of playing position.
12 Practising on piece and etudes.
13 Practises on intonation and articulation techniques.
14 General practises.
15 Final exam.
