Course Objective

The purpose of this course; to develop the teachers' sociological thinking skills, critical thinking skills, consciousness of their own culture, with tolerance of other cultures to gain the ability to approach, attitudes relevant to the subject.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to have knowledge about the basic concepts of Sociology.
2   Being able to develop a perspective on the structural properties of society, culture, social relations.
3   Being able to evaluate social events and phenomena with a holistic approach .
4   Being able to have the ability to approach different cultures empathic.
5   Being able to gain the ability to see the relationship between education-culture, education-society, education-the environment.
