Course Objective

Aims of this course are to make class teacher candidates to recognize a problem, to use a suitable research method for the problem and sample, to construct a research model, to collect samples, to analyze and discuss results and finally to suggest solutions by evaluating results and to report the findings.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Meaning knowledge of science and basic concepts (fact, knowledge, absolute, truth, mistake, universal knowledge etc.)
2   Being able to comprehend scientific research techniques and understand different views related these techniques.
3   Being able to to define a scientific research problem and develop a suitable hypothesis for this problem.
4   Being able to understand the kinds of varibles.
5   Being able to conduct literature review related to determinated problem.
6   Being able to understand the selection of the sample.
7   Being able to comprehend data collection techniques.
8   Being able to report outcomes of the research.

6 Causal-comparative research.

8 MID-TERM EXAM.
9 Methodologies used in educational studies and their classification/ qualitative reserach/Observation.
10 Interview.
11 Content analysis.
12 Case study.
13 Action research.
14 Documentation analysis/ Writing research report.
15 FINAL EXAM.

2. Every trial to copying will be finalized with disciplinary proceedings.
