Course Objective

The aim of this course is to enable the students to develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in order to increase their communicative competence in German through authentic reading and listening materials which provide stimulating content that integrates listening, reading, speaking and writing skills.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   On successful completion of this semester, students will be able to name the adverbs of time and place in German
2   differentiate modal verbs
3   use the "Perfekt" tense in German effectively
4   present the time and date in German
5   describe their families, school, home and express their likes, dislikes, daily routines
