Course Objective

To teach the history and progress of sociology and to provide students the sociological imagination. With this imagination, to show sociological works, theories, perspectives, and methods on religion.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will learn the emergence of sociology and its history.
2   They will have the sociological imagination.
3   They will obtain generic understanding and information on sociological works and theories on religion.
4   They will learn sociological methods when researching religion.
5   They will gain the ability to observe religion with the sociological imagination.
