Course Objective

Design and production principles. Detailed modeling, Solution, reporting and presentation of a real life problem related with the basic subjects of mechanical engineering by individual or group study. Assessment of the model production and evaluation of performance criteria, in the light of the results obtained. The project should include realistic constraints such as economic factors, safety, reliability, maintenance, aesthetics, ethics, and social impact.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To identify the problems in Mechanical Engineering
2   To determine the criteria for the design and manufacturing of mechanical engineering problems
3   Knowledge of project management in multidisciplinary fields
4   To design Mechanical engineering problems in accordance with the specific criteria
5   To analyses the developed solutions with modern engineering viewpoint.
