Course Objective

It is expected that students will learn the strength of machine elements in new designs, fundamentals of the machine elements, importance of standarts and tolerances, the calculation, design and use of machine elements.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of the course it is expected that the student will be able to to classify
2   At the end of the course it is expected that the student will be able to interpret machine design and knowlage of the material strength
3   At the end of the course it is expected that the student will be able to solve the problem of machine element design by using knowlage of materials and strength
4   At the end of the course it is expected that the student will be able to use standarts in machine design
5   At the end of the course it is expected that the student will be able to carry out strength calculations for shaft, gear and bearing
