Course Objective

1. To classify the short staple spinning system and to give general information about the short staple spinning system.
2. To give detailed information about spinning preparation processes and machines.
3. To give detailed information about spinning processes, machines and technologies.
4. To teach calculations on machine kinematic diagrams in detail.
5. To give general information about modern spinning technologies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defining material preparation processes in short staple spinning.
2   Having detailed knowledge about spinning preparation processes.
3   Having detailed information about spinning process, spinning machine, twisting and packaging mechanisms.
4   Knowing latest technologies and automation systems in short staple spinning mills.
5   Having general knowledge about modern spinning technologies.
