Course Objective

To give theoretical and practical information about textile printing

4   To gain the ability to solve problems by using fundamental information about printing

1 Introduction to textile printing, main principles of printing, Direct, discharge, resist and transfer printing
2 Information about printing paste, dyestuffs, thickeners
3 Infıormation about printing auxiliary agents
4 Printing of cellulosic fibers-vat dyes
5 Printing of cellulosic fibers-reactive dyes
6 Printing with pigment dyestuffs
7 1st midterm
8 Printing of polyamide and wool fibers
9 Printing of polyester and polyacrylonitrile fibers
10 Printing of fiber blends
11 Special printing types (devore printing etc.)
12 2nd midterm
13 Cylinder and rotary screen printing machines-Laboratory 1
14 Flat screen and ink-jet printing machines-Laboratory 2
