Course Objective

To learn the structures, classification and mechanisms of textile auxiliary agents

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To learn the importance and classification of textile auxiliary agents that are used in textile finishing treatments
2   To learn usage of surface active agents as textile auxiliary agents
3   To learn the structure, usage and mechanisms of the other auxiliary agents like pH buffer, etc. (except for surface active agents)
4   To learn structure and mechanisms of auxiliary agents, their effects to the environment and their usage
5   The ability to solve problems about textile auxiliary agent and to choose alternative to use in current treatments
