Course Objective

This course aims at defining fixed capital, presenting theories of urban capital with the circumstances under which they have developed, getting to comprehend current approach of the urbanization of capital, interpreting the circulation processes of urban capital as a case of practice, and analysing the relationships between different fractions of capital and urbanization.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, students, will be able to define fixed capital (Knowledge),
2   will be able to list different theories of urban capital (Knowledge),
3   will be able to describe current approach of urbanization of capital (Comprehension),
4   will be able to interprete the circulation processes (Application),
5   will be able to relate capital to urbanization (Analysis).

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

This course will be given through lectures. Students will learn topics by attending and listening the lectures. Homeworks will be given to students in 7th Week and they will be asked to prepare their homeworks on the subjects given to them.
