Course Objective

This internship aims for the students to observe various applications in the setting of a construction site. These applications include masonry, concrete preparation and pouring, formworks, reinforcement, iron and steel works, cast manufacture and roof framing.

1   Recognizing the manufacture of application, excavation, backfilling, foundation / subbasement
2   Recognizing the manufacture of cast preparation, hammering, disassembly, maintanence
3   Recognizing the manufacture of ironwork in reinforced concrete
4   Recognizing the manufacture of concrete (preperation, transportation, casting, maintenance
5   Recognizing the manufacture of wall masonry work (especially brick)
6   Recognizing the manufacture of roof (timber and tile work)

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Manufactures of application, excavation, backfilling, foundation / subbasement Individual observation and transmission to internship notebook.
2 Manufactures of cast preparation, hammering, disassembly, maintanence Individual observation and transmission to internship notebook.
3 Manufactures of ironwork in reinforced concrete Individual observation and transmission to internship notebook.
4 Manufactures of concrete (preperation, transportation, casting, maintenance) Individual observation and transmission to internship notebook.
5 Manufactures of wall masonry work (especially brick) Individual observation and transmission to internship notebook.
6 Manufactures of roof (timber and tile work) Class application Individual observation and transmission to internship notebook.

students have to explain their observations about the site area, during 36 workdays, both in written and with photographs taken by them, in their construction-site notebooks, evaluation of the construction site internship will be done through their construction-site notebooks, and also the report about the student, by construction-site area chief will effect the last decision about the success/ no success of the construction-site internship,
