Course Objective

This course aims to give the students the ability to transform formal, functional and structural relationships into an architectural design in the context of a given theme and site at an urban scale.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Demonstrate having adequate knowledge and skills to create quality environments at an urban scale. 2   Demonstrate an understanding of the contemporary contexts in the field of architecture. 3   Demonstrate an understanding of site analysis. 4   Demonstrate an understanding of design thinking as responsive to and shaper of social and cultural context. 5   Visually communicate architectural concepts and design intent using discipline-specific techniques.
