Course Objective

The course explains project management in the life cycle of the building projects, the effects of project management on planning of construction process, the phases of project management process, process planning and programming techniques, and the implementations of project management in building projects.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding the implementation of project management in the life cycle process of the building projects.
2   Understanding the importance of project management in the life cycle of the building projects.
3   Being capable of monitoring developments in project management.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course is taught in a lecture, research assignment, class presentation and discussion format. All class members are expected to attend and both the lecture and seminar hours and take part in the discussion sessions.
