Course Objective

The objective of this course is to develop the knowledge about consumption, consumer culture/society and their spatial impacts and products; to gain a critical view on consumption and architecture relationships by analyzing design criteria and characteristics of these consumption based spaces.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

In the first weeks of course, instructors will give lectures enriched by visual presentations on determined issues. In the last weeks of the course, students homework presentations will be criticized.
