Course Objective

The aim of the course is to improve the abilities of computer aided drawing techniques. Teaching Archicad program which is a highly used program in architectural education and strengthening the two and three dimensional architectural representations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defining the interface of the program and it changing technical settings.
2   Expressing the 2B (two dimensional) drawing techniques, and application settings.
3   Expressing the 3B (three dimensional) drawing techniques and repeating the 2B information
4   Expressing the 3B rendering settings, presentation and plotting settings.
5   Using these techniques in the building design phase.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course will be held by theoretical discussions and students will apply the theoretical information. A process that integrates theoretical information and the practice on computer will be followed.
