Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to enable the student to comprehend the importance of leadership features and skills, which are required by nursing in the World and in our country, recognize her/himself in terms of this aspect and guide them to develop the skills of leadership in order to direct the change in occupational life.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student can discuss about the leader and onlooker features,
2   The student can associate the leader styles and onlooker features,
3   The student can determine strategies to recognize and develop her/his own leadership features and skills,
4   The student can apply the leadership skills in occupational problems,
5   The student can analyse the effect of leader style features on onlookers,
6   The student can understand the nurse leaders and their features,
7   The student can critically assess the available leadership applications in the profession of nursing,
8   The student can make a planning to use the leadership skills aimed at the solution of occupational problems.
