Course Objective

The aim of this lecture is to introduce prosthetic technology, pre/post
amputation and pre/post prosthetic physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches.

4   Functional parts of a prosthesis are introduced
5   Advanced post-prosthetic training, ways of developing activities of daily living and progression to normal life are explained in detail

6 Immediate and early prosthetic amputations
7 Congenital anamolies and prosthetic approaches
8 Mid-term exam I
9 Upper extremity mechanical and myoelectric prosthesis
10 Lower extremity mechanical and myoelectric prosthesis
11 Rehabilitation in lower extremity amputations
12 Rehabilitation in lower extremity amputations
