Course Objective

To help teachers become lifelong learners and to help teachers become individual learners which are significant for teacher aptitude criteria accepted by the Ministry of National Education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To help pre-service and in-service teachers gain skills, abilities, knowledge, values, and attitudes required for professional teaching.
2   To acquaint teachers with the opportunities for professional development.
3   To teach the school-based professional development model.
4   To help teachers develop their own individual professional development model.
5   To help teachers implement and evaluate individual professional development models.
