Course Objective

The aim of the lesson is to be able to understand the basic information about the art currents such as Impressionism, Expressionism, Neo-Classicism. And the let them gain the exprience of explaining practising methods of these current to all of the other arts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be able to identify the basic knowledges about Impressionism, Expressionism, Neo-Classicism and explain the differences among them.
2   Will be able to explain formal and harmonic structures of the works which have bben composed in the styles of Impressionism, Expressionism, Neo-Classicism.
3   Will be able to identify the Impressionist, Expressionist, Neo-Classic Composer and their important works.
4   Will be able to discuss the basic approaches which are related to the positions of political, socio-economic and historical currents of Impressionism, Expressionism, Neo-Classicism.
5   Will be able to write a report with the information he has found by researching how tu use it in any art current in all arts.
