Course Objective

To interpret works properly consistent with music periods stylistically.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   - Explain various string instruments in accordance with the period they belong to. 2   Describe string instruments used in Renaissance. 3   Compare Baroque era bow with Classical era bow. 4   - List physical advancements occurred on the body of strings in 19th century. 5   Define similarities and differences of string instruments according to music periods they were used in.
