Course Objective

To gain ability which was written Ottoman Turkish with text ability to read and make use of these resources

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ottoman alphabet font used shape and ability to recognize characters
2   To understand that Ottoman Turkish manuscripts used in Arabic and Persian origin words.
3   To translate which is written from Ottoman Turkhish text to Today s Turkish.
4   At the same time to read which is written Ottoman Turkish newspaper,book,etc.
5   Learn the spelling of words in Turkish and foreign well-worn attachments.
6   Comprehend the texts of the 18th and 19th century and features.
7   Finding the root of words of Arabic origin and derivation of the word knows ways.
8   Grasp of Turkish history in the process.
