Course Objective

The aim of this course is to deal with reflections of social, economic, political and cultural problems that people have, to the history teaching and learning in consideration of developments in the last century and in this regard, seek answer the question how a better history teaching is possible on the basis of the World and Turkey.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to be aware of problems which were encountered in the history teaching in the World.
2   to explain problems about history teaching
3   to analyse main problems of history teaching in Turkey
4   to comment on transformations of history teaching in Turkey from early years of the republic till today
5   to make solution suggestions aimed at nowadays' problems of history teaching.
