Course Objective

The aim of this course is to show political and intellectual conditions that gave rise to emergence of the Turkish Thesis of History and probe discussion processes which began with emergence of the thesis

2   To comment on Western Thinkers who provide a basis for the Turkish Thesis of History and their ideas
3   To analyze discussions about Turkish Thesis of History
4   To consider Turkish Thesis of History within socio-political developments of that period
