Course Objective

Having knowledge related to basic concepts of drama and developing some drama implementations in primary education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to have the knowledge of history and theories of Drama.
2   Being able to have the knowledge of the basic concepts related to drama.
3   Being able to apply the different techniques in drama.
4   Being able to develop drama activities for primary education.
5   Being able to develop positive attitudes for using drama in his/her lessons.

1 Introduction and explaining of course syllabus.
2 What is Drama The importance and the history of drama.
3 Theories of drama.
4 The rules in drama implementations and the role of teacher.
5 Investigating samples of drama activities in different lessons.
6 Discussing the benefits of drama.
7 Drama implementations in class.
8 Midterm exam
9 Investigating samples of drama applications of different countries.
10 Drama presentations which planned and applied with students-1
11 Drama presentations which planned and applied with students-2
12 Drama presentations which planned and applied with students-3
13 Drama presentations which planned and applied with students-4
14 Evaluating the processes and whole lesson.
15 Final exam
