Course Objective

To present a critical and analitical perspective about political socialisation and mass movements.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To form the concept of political socialisation s conceptual frame.
2   To have information about the methods used in the investigations of political socialisation.
3   To put approaches that emerged in the area of political socialization comperatively.
4   To have information about the sorts of political socialisation.
5   To express the effect of political socialisation on individuals from different perspectives.

1 Explanations related with lesson s content. Method in investigations of political socialisation. Biographies, autobiographies ,reportages, interwiews, etc.
2 Conceptual Framework: Socialisation, Political socialisation, Political career, militant, biographic breaking etc.
3 Who socializes When Ideas on individuals who are socialised.
4 Classical approaches about political socialisation: Is political socialisation a pathological indicator
5 Contemporary approaches about political socialisation: Rational individual
6 Developings about political socialisation approaches: Rational individual who has also emotion.

10 Political socialisation in institutionalized organisation: The membership of political parties.
