Course Objective

The aim of this course is to determine and teach what logic is and its methodology and critiques about it.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To teach the place of logic through medieval period
2   To teach the relationship between logic and epistemology through medieval world
3   To teach the differences between logical and metaphysical and religious outlooks through medieval period
4   To learn and apprehend the methodological differences and arguments by using texts
5   To learn the contributions of religious and logical knowledge to the area of divinity

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

The students will learn the idea of religious knowledge among medieval period and comprehend its relationship with scientific knowledge. Also they will learn the contribution of these debates to the area of theology.

Assessment Criteria

The success of student will be counted by reference to their performance in mid term, final exams, works and courses.
